Job Description

Responsibility:

The major responsibilities of this role are:

  • Ensure smooth functioning of the department and ensuring timely & proper accountability of materials.
  • Receive materials against Purchase Orders/supplier challans and verify for correct quantity and quality
  • Prepare GRN for material receipts in stores ERP system.
  • Arrange for inspection and move accepted items to its designated locations
  • Proper handling and safe custody of stock items
  • Issue of materials to user departments and enter the same in system
  • Return of rejected materials to vendors for replacement
  • Arrange for timely re-ordering of general items stocks
  • Co-ordination with Purchase/Production/QC and other user departments
  • Preparation of Job Work challan and its accounting in the system.
  • Maintain records of Free Issue Materials received from customers and its accounting.
  • Maintain and update all records/registers and documents related to Stores department
  • Daily update of stock movements in ERP to ensure accuracy of stock items
  • Plan and manage day-to-day work of stores department including manpower utilisation
  • Periodic stock verification to ensure physical versus system stock tallying.
  • Co-ordination with Purchase / QC/ Planning / User departments .
  • Placing the material at designated places on GRN approval
  • Issue of materials on receipt of Authorized issue slip and accounting the same in ERP system every day.
  • Providing Operations/Purchase Head feedback on issues related to rates or excess stocks
  • Assist in Shift operations for smooth Production activities
  • Quality assessment of stocks
  • Providing safe custody of material
  • Keep Check on Rejected material and inform to concerned department
  • Monitor the minimum stock of specified material.
  • Exhibit ability to learn new things
  • Attend to Customer queries and complaints and provide feedback to seniors
  • To coach and develop Junior team members to ensure effective skills base
  • Be open to Innovative ways of working to ensure efficiency
  • Complete all assigned tasks as delegated by Seniors

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
