Dispense prescription glasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions from optometrists or ophthalmologists. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic eye care for patients. Stay informed about advancements in optometry by participating in continuing education programs and industry updates. Provide expert guidance to patients on eye health, vision correction, and proper lens usage. Effectively manage patient flow and maintain efficiency, especially during peak hours or emergency situations.
