Store Manager

Job Role & Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, issue, and record-keeping of materials. Maintain accurate inventory levels and update stock registers (manual & software). Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entry, material checking, and documentation against PO / challan. Monitor material inward & outward movement and ensure proper authorization and tracking. Conduct physical stock verification (daily / weekly / monthly) and reconcile with system records. Coordinate with purchase department for material requirements, shortages, and reorder levels. Maintain storage standards — proper stacking, labeling, damage prevention, and safety compliance. Issue materials to site / production departments against approved requisitions. Maintain record of tools & machinery, including issuance, return, and service logs. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports, consumption reports. Handle vendor material returns, debit notes, and rejection management. Ensure compliance with audit requirements, documentation, and company policies. Supervise store staff, helpers, and ensure smooth workflow inside the store.
