Job Description

person should have knowledge of store keeping for an electronics industry, dealing with various electronic components and semi-conductors. Should know how to maintain store using FIFO and LIFO and 5SResponsibilities: Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of electronic components and semiconductors. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using a computerized inventory management system. Organize and store inventory efficiently, following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) methods as appropriate. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Issue inventory components to production or other departments upon request. Monitor stock levels and identify potential stockouts or overstocking situations. Generate reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and costs. Warehouse Organization: Implement and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment using the 5S methodology (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). Ensure proper storage conditions for electronic components to prevent damage or degradation. Label and identify inventory items clearly for easy retrieval. Warehouse Operations: Maintain a safe and secure work environment according to all safety regulations. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (may require additional training and certification).
