Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Incharge to manage our store operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in inventory control, material handling, and team coordination, preferably in an industrial or engineering setup. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials. Issue materials to departments as per requisition and maintain documentation (GRN, Issue Slips, etc.). Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid stock-outs. Manage and organize storage layout for easy access and proper labeling. Operate ERP or inventory management software for stock tracking and reporting. Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate with purchase, production, and dispatch teams for material flow. Supervise store assistants and labor for daily operations. Ensure compliance with safety and company standards in storekeeping. Handle vendor communication and follow-up for material deliveries. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management Proficiency in ERP software (SAP/Tally/Oracle or similar) Good communication and team handling skills Documentation and basic reporting skills Familiarity with FIFO/LIFO systems Ability to handle physical stock and manual labor supervision Basic understanding of technical components (preferred for engineering stores) Qualifications: Graduate / Diploma in any discipline Certification in Inventory/Warehouse Management (preferred) Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a similar role
