About Daymart Group

Daymart Group is one of Kerala’s fastest-growing supermarket and hypermarket chains, known for quality products and excellent customer experience. As we continue expanding, we are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Incharge to lead store operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth, efficient functioning.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Supervise and guide staff including cashiers, sales staff, and departmental teams.
• Ensure high customer service standards and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with procurement, and manage receiving and inventory.
• Minimize shrinkage, damages, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Implement merchandising standards, planograms, and promotional displays.
• Ensure proper billing, POS operations, cash handling, and daily reconciliation.
• Prepare and share required reports (sales, attendance, stock, etc.).
• Ensure staff discipline, grooming, punctuality, and duty allocation.
• Coordinate with HR, Accounts, and Operations for staffing and store requirements.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a supermarket/hypermarket.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory / assistant manager / manager role.
• Strong experience in store operations, inventory, customer service, and team management.
• Ability to lead a team and manage fast-paced retail operations.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word).
