Store Executive

Job Summary:

The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, mechanical/electrical parts, consumables, and finished goods used in printing machine manufacturing. This role ensures accurate stock levels, proper storage, timely material issuance, and smooth coordination with production, purchase, and dispatch teams.

Role & responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, spare parts, and finished goods.
• Regularly update stock registers/ERP systems.
• Conduct periodic physical verification of inventory.

Material Handling & Storage

• Ensure proper storage of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components as per standards.
• Label and categorize items to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Handle sensitive machine parts with care to prevent damage.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and stock movement reports.

Coordination

• Work closely with production, procurement, QC, and dispatch departments.
• Follow up with purchase department for pending material or shortages.
• Support QC during inspection of incoming materials.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and follows 5S standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while handling heavy or delicate components.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical preferred
• 36 years of experience as Store Keeper in manufacturing industry
• Experience in printing machinery/engineering components preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical & electrical parts
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong understanding of GRN, MRN, stock ledger, cycle count, etc.
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
