Job Summary
The Store Executive is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience to parents and children by assisting with product selection, order fulfillment, billing, and customer service. The role supports smooth day-to-day store operations, maintains high standards of visual merchandising and hygiene, and ensures accurate handling of inventory and sales transactions.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, well-groomed, comfortable working with children, and adaptable to high-volume seasonal retail operations, especially during the back-to-school period.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Experience & Sales
· Greet customers warmly and assist parents and children in selecting school uniforms, books, bags, shoes, and school supplies.
· Ensure accurate understanding and fulfillment of school-specific booklists and uniform requirements.
· Provide size guidance for uniforms and footwear, ensuring customer comfort and satisfaction.
· Promote ease-of-ordering, technology-enabled processes, durability, and sustainability features of Invent’re products.
· Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to maximize basket value while maintaining a friendly, non-pushy approach.
· Handle billing, POS transactions, exchanges, and returns smoothly and accurately.
2. Store Operations
· Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing activities as assigned.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the store at all times.
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cash handling, billing, and customer service.
· Assist in implementing company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
3. Inventory & Stock Management
· Receive, unpack, and arrange merchandise as per store layout and merchandising guidelines.
· Monitor stock levels on the floor and inform the Store Manager of replenishment needs.
· Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and seasonal inventory audits.
· Help prevent stock loss, damage, and pilferage by following inventory control practices.
4. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation
· Maintain attractive and organized product displays for uniforms, books, and school merchandise.
· Support seasonal visual merchandising, especially during back-to-school campaigns and promotions.
· Ensure pricing labels, tags, and signage are accurate and updated.
5. Customer Support & Issue Resolution
· Address basic customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints courteously and escalate issues to the Store Manager when required.
· Support customers with online order pickups, order tracking, or technology-enabled ordering processes.
· Collect customer feedback and share insights with the Store Manager to improve service quality.
6. Team Support
· Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily sales and service targets.
· Support new staff or temporary staff during peak season with on-the-job guidance.
· Be flexible with shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
