Store Assistant

Job Title: Store Assistant Company: Aera Gas Control Systems Pvt. Ltd. Department: Store & Dispatch Reports To: Head of Department (Store & Dispatch) Location: Pune Dhayari Stipend/Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance) Overall Objective of the Job: The Store Assistant is responsible for assisting in the receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operations within the store and dispatch area. The role supports inventory accuracy, material safety, and timely availability of supplies for production. Key Responsibilities: Assist in receiving goods from suppliers and verify items as per the purchase order. Support in preparing and maintaining documentation such as Vendors Consignment Notes (Delivery Challans), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and Goods Rejection Memos. Organize and arrange materials in the designated storage areas safely and systematically. Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, and stock levels. Support in issuing materials to the production department as per requirements. Assist in preparing and dispatching purchase requisitions for replenishment of stock. Help manage store personnel and coordinate with transport for dispatch activities. Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety of the store area. Safeguard all materials, equipment, and inventory from loss, damage, or theft. Generate periodic inventory reports and assist in stock audits. Education: 12th Pass or Graduate (Male candidates preferred) Mandatory Knowledge: Tally Prime (not necessary) MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint Competencies Required: Bookkeeping & Inventory Management Data Entry and Data Analysis Report Writing and Documentation Time and People Management Strong Communication Skills Basic Forklift Operation (preferred) Teamwork and Problem-Solving Abilities Working Conditions: Full-time position based at the company’s store/dispatch unit. May require occasional overtime depending on operational needs.
