Role & responsibilities Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing issues with hardware, Server, Storage, SAN Switch, and Virtualization Installation: Setting up new Server, Storage, SAN Switch, Virtualization Training: Teaching users how to use new technology and IT regulations Maintenance: Keeping equipment and software up to date Monitoring: Keeping an eye on the performance of a company's IT infrastructure Advising: Recommending technological solutions to executives Documentation: Creating technical reports and manuals Researching: Keeping up with the latest computing technology Logging: Recording logs of support provided to clients Remote support: Providing technical assistance remotely or on-site Preferred candidate profile Person experienced in server administration, storage, virtualization and expert in configuring and managing the storage solutions.
