Snapshot / snap mirroring Backup policy creation. Troubleshooting Master media server management. Root Cause Analysis Multiplexing / Multi streaming ACSCS / SSO SAN switches. FC network maintenance. Storage Application configuration & management. Storage Allocation / Deallocation To provide Backup and Recovery Management services, support and product support for various supported backup and storage solutions across various accounts Maintain backup solutions and Manage storage solution Provide technical support, guidance and direction for products supported. # Hardware /software fault detection… ( Windows/Linux/Solaris ) and fair knowledge of other operating system. In depth knowledge of Veritas Netbackup Understanding the daem on flow. The challenges of Enterprise netbackup environment. Installation and configuration of Master/Media and clients. Installation and configuration of Database agents. Customization of RMAN scripts ( Preferred) Working with Netbackup GUI – The Command Line interface. Netbackup Operations Manager and the reporting tools. Configuration of Volume Pools, Storage Units, Policies, Tape drives and Robot. Media management. Performing catalogue backups and restores. Troubleshooting the backup issues by analyzing the netbackup logs.
