Job Summary

We are looking for a polite, hard-working, and customer-focused Steward to join our team at Rynsan, Shillong Café. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth café operations by providing excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall dining experience for our guests.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service

• Greet customers warmly and guide them to their seats
• Take and serve food and beverage orders efficiently
• Provide prompt responses to guest requests and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude at all times

Food & Beverage Support

• Ensure tables are clean and properly set before and after service
• Serve food and beverages as per café standards
• Assist in plating, garnishing, and basic service tasks as required
• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff for smooth order flow

Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, counters, and service stations
• Follow proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
• Ensure cutlery, glassware, and tableware are cleaned and arranged properly

Operations & Teamwork

• Assist in stock management—refilling water, condiments, napkins, etc.
• Support café staff in opening and closing duties
• Work as part of a team to ensure an efficient and pleasant café environment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a steward/waiter preferred (freshers with minimum three months F&B Service training can also apply)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude, punctual, and well-groomed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of food & beverage service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,500.00 per month
