The team is focused on the PostgreSQL offering under the Cloud SQL product on GCP, contributing to the advancement of technology and empowering digital transformation for organizations globally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Be an expert in PostgreSQL core performance and scalability, making significant contributions to the Open Source (OSS) community. - Drive innovation and accelerate product development within the team. - Participate in roadmap discussions, optimize database performance, and enhance customer satisfaction by resolving issues effectively. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in software development. - 5 years of experience in testing, and launching software products. - 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. - Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred. - 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms. - 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction. - Experience as a PostgreSQL open-source contributor with contributions to core performance and scalability. - Ability to optimize PostgreSQL performance, resolve database issues, and contribute to product improvement and customer satisfaction. - Ability to participate in PostgreSQL Developer Meetings, with knowledge of roadmaps and community decisions.,
