Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent, and patient-centric bedside nursing care.
• Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs and clinical progress.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as per physician orders.
• Assist doctors during rounds, medical procedures, and emergency interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, nursing notes, and patient records.
• Ensure strict compliance with hospital infection control protocols.
• Handle medical equipment and consumables responsibly.
• Counsel patients and families on care, recovery, and discharge guidelines.
• Respond efficiently to emergency situations.
• Support new nursing staff, interns, and trainees when required.
  

Job Specifications (Requirements)

Education & Certification

• Mandatory:

  GNM or B.Sc. Nursing

• Registration:

  Valid Nursing Council Registration (State or Central)
  

Experience

• 2 to 7 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setup.
• Experience in ICU, NICU, PICU, Emergency, OT, Ward, or Labor Room will be an added advantage.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent patient communication and counseling ability
• Ability to work in rotating shifts and high-pressure clinical environments
• Good teamwork, discipline, and professional ethics
• Familiarity with modern hospital procedures, EMR, and equipment handling
