The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, contribute to the efficient operation of the healthcare team, and support the hospital's mission to provide exceptional cancer care. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide patient care and administer prescribed medications as per the doctors instructions. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team. Assist in preparing patients for procedures, surgeries, and other medical treatments. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during their stay in the hospital. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols. Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care management. Collaborate with doctors, medical staff, and healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care. Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients. Handle emergency situations effectively and follow established emergency procedures. Ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment. Provide emotional support to patients and families during their treatment and recovery process. Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs. Qualifications: Education: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) degree. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cancer or oncology-related environment. Licensure: Valid nursing registration with the State Nursing Council. Skills: Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals. Knowledge of medical procedures, medications, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle emergencies. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
