Job Description

Ensure patient’s elimination requirements are met.
Evaluate existing drainage systems in place
Ensure the risk management, progress monitoring and assessment of baseline data is obtained and documented.
Initiate cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, non-invasive blood pressure, and oximetry
Provide active intervention to maintain oxygen saturations
Provide specific monitoring if required and management if a neurological

unstable status is detected.

Ensure the intervention to maintain blood glucose levels.
Recognize cardiac arrhythmias. Intervene using physician orders, ACLS Algorithm
Re-assess patient to identify progress and trends that require intervention or reporting to the physician
Administer medicines as per the prescription.
Monitor for medicine adverse reaction and report them promptly.
Perform blood draw from an arterial and central line. Obtain readings from pulmonary catheter (wedged and non-wedged). Interpret computerized monitor trends as required.
Collect lab reports and report accordingly
Ensure the management of the intravenous infusion, intravenous site and intravenous medication
Ensure that nursing care is provided according to the standards set by AIMS, Kochi.
To undertake delegated responsibility for senior staff during short periods of absence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
