Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Staff Nurses to provide high-quality patient care at our healthcare facility in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is crucial for delivering empathetic care, ensuring patient safety, and upholding the highest standards of nursing practice. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patients physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments and physician's orders. Identify changes in patient conditions and report them promptly to the treating physician. Medication Administration & Treatment: Administer medications (oral, intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous) accurately and safely, adhering to the 5 Rights of medication administration. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and document all observations. Perform various medical treatments, wound care, catheterization, IV fluid administration, and other nursing procedures as per established protocols. Monitoring & Documentation: Regularly monitor and record patients vital signs, input/output, pain levels, and other relevant parameters. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records, nursing notes, and charts in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes. Assistance to Physicians: Assist doctors during rounds, examinations, medical procedures, and emergencies. Prepare patients for various diagnostic tests and surgical procedures. Collect samples for laboratory tests as required. Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, medication schedules, and self-care techniques. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families. Hygiene & Infection Control: Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, including hand hygiene, aseptic techniques, and proper disposal of medical waste. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment. Monitor and prevent hospital-acquired infections. Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies, code calls, and critical situations. Initiate life-saving measures (e.g., CPR) as required and assist the medical team during resuscitation efforts. Equipment Management: Ensure proper functioning, cleaning, and maintenance of medical equipment used in patient care. Report any equipment malfunctions promptly. Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, paramedical staff, and support personnel to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. Participate in ward meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development programs.
