Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and delivery. High data entry speed.
• Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities.
• Maintain financial records in compliance with global accounting standards and internal policies.
• Review and manage workflows across

  QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, and Suvit

  platforms.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and compliance officers for statutory filings and audits.
• Develop and implement process automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with the investment and operations teams to align accounting data with investment reporting and fund performance analytics.
• Monitor cash flows, budgeting, and expense management.
• Mentor junior accountants and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

  Accounting, Finance, or related field (Mandatory)

• Professional certification:

  US CPA or equivalent

  preferred (Indian CA not considered for this role)

• Minimum 2+ years

  of relevant experience in accounting, financial operations, or investment firm environments
• Proven expertise in

  QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, and Suvit

• Strong understanding of financial statements, consolidation, and reporting frameworks
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Exposure to

  US/Canada accounting and reporting practices

  is a strong advantage
