SSE (Java Python AWS)

Seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud & Backend Engineer with a strong background in cloud-native development, medical imaging standards (DICOM/DICOMWeb), and device-to-cloud integration. Candidate will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and compliant systems that connect medical devices to the cloud, enabling real-time imaging workflows and data analytics.

• Design and implement cloud-based pipelines for ingesting, storing, and processing DICOM imaging data from edge devices.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using modern frameworks (Java, Python ).
• Integrate with DICOMWeb services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (AWS CDK, Terraform).
• Ensure secure data transmission using TLS, IAM, and OAuth2, with full audit logging and compliance with HIPAA and FDA 21 CFR.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 4–6 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS).
• Strong backend development skills in Java and Python .
• Hands-on experience with DICOM and DICOMweb.
• Experience integrating medical devices or edge systems with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with PACS, or similar imaging systems.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, data privacy, and security best practices.
• Experience in working with Agile methodology of project execution
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
