Sr.Engineer/Asst.Manager Mechanical Testing Lab (Quality Department) Lob location: Ludhiana CTC up to 8 LPA inc 10 % variable Education: Diploma / B-tech Mechanical Role Objective Lead Mechanical Testing lab ensuring that all testing as per IS,ISO,EN & JIS standards/Internal norms to be done on critical components & product level Some critical components testing are frame, fork, saddle, tyre, tube etc. fatigue, durability, life testing Overseeing BIS Audit & 3rd party inspection Job Responsibilities Mechanical Testing of Bicycle Components as per IS, ISO, EN & JIS Standards and release testing reports after completion of testing. Salt Spray Testing (CASS & NSS) of Ni-Cr plated and Zinc plated components of Bicycle and HAC. Outsourced Testing from Third party labs Internal and External Calibration of Gauges, Instruments, Test Equipment etc. Inspection of Initial stage samples of Govt. Tender material and complete bicycles after assembly w.r.t tender specifications/reference standards. Responsible for BIS audits and 3rd party Inspections during running supply of Govt. tenders Discussions with R&D team for upgradation of existing testing standards in case of requirement. Desired Position Qualification B. E/ B. Tech (Mechanical) with min. 5 yrs of total experience in Quality, min. 3yrs work exp. In Testing & Validation ,calibration
