Job Title : Sr.Engineer/Assistant Manager- BOM Controller in SAP Required Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering or Equivalent Experience : 7 to 13 Years of proven exp. In areas of Material Master, BOM Management, Routine Management and handling the SAP Hana system Experience of SAP MM Module Implementation Experience of SAP Material Master configuration experience Technical Skills : Proficiency in SAP MM Module Implementation understanding Proficiency in SAP Material Master configuration understanding, Report Creation, Customisation Proficiency in BOM management software and ERP systems including creation, maintenance etc. Should be proficiency in addressing unexpected issues related to BOMs during production Should have understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards Knowledge of Engineering BOM & Engineering changes Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings Behavioural Skills : Excellent Communication & presentation skills Should have strong independent work ethic and excellent time management skills Ability to execute plans & should be a good team player Should have positive attitude and problem-solving skills Ability to meet strict deadlines and be able to prioritize the work Principal Accountabilities (Roles & Responsibilities) : 1. Creating and Maintaining Accurate Material Master and BOMs : Develop and manage the Material Master and Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products Preparation of BOMs for use in service processes to enable the generation of detailed inspection Collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure BOMs reflect the latest designs Regularly update BOMs to reflect changes in design, materials, or suppliers Analysis and implementation of changes in bill of material 2. Material Master and BOM Audits and Discrepancy Resolution : Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement in the Bill of Materials process. Liaising with Purchasing and Production departments to meet technical and business requirements as each order demands 3. Cost Optimization: Analyze BOM data to identify cost-saving opportunities 4. Process Improvement and Documentation : Develop and implement BOM management processes and best practices Maintenance of the material master database to ensure all product records conform to established standards and documentation Prepare reports and presentations on BOM status and metrics Identify and mitigate risks related to BOM management 5. System Implementation, Configuration and Accuracy : Overall responsibility for accuracy System Implementation, Configuration and adequate content of MM and BOMs including proper structure, quality requirements, raw material requirements, linking of appropriate technical documentation and in SAP Hana system Interested candidate share your cv on sujit.baikar@pramahikvision.com.
