As a Site Reliability Engineer (AWS) in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, your role will involve managing system uptime across cloud-native (AWS) and hybrid architectures. You will be responsible for building infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns that meet security and engineering standards using technologies like Terraform, scripting with cloud CLI, and programming with cloud SDK. Additionally, you will build CI/CD pipelines for the build, test, and deployment of applications and cloud architecture patterns utilizing platforms like Jenkins and cloud-native toolchains. Key Responsibilities: - Manage system(s) uptime across cloud-native (AWS) and hybrid architectures. - Build infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns using technologies like Terraform, scripting with cloud CLI, and programming with cloud SDK. - Create CI/CD pipelines for the build, test, and deployment of applications and cloud architecture patterns. - Develop automated tooling to deploy service requests and push changes into production. - Solve problems and triage complex distributed architecture service maps. - Create comprehensive and detailed runbooks to manage, detect, remediate, and restore services. - Lead availability blameless postmortems and take ownership of remediation actions. - Participate in a team of first responders in a 24/7 follow-the-sun operating model for incident and problem management. - Communicate effectively with technical peers and team members in both written and verbal formats. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in the public cloud. - Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, and/or Node.js. - Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime to ensure functional and performance objectives. - Cross-functional knowledge in systems, storage, networking, security, and databases. - System administration skills, including automation and orchestration of Linux/Windows using tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). - Experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and practices.
