Position : SRE AWS ( Building and Managing Kubernetes cluster, Terraform ) Location : Chennai ( Ascendas It Park )/ Mumbai ( Andheri East ) / Gurugram ( DLF Phase 2 ) Hybrid/ WFO Position Type : Permanent Notice Period 15- 30 Days Job Description: 6 to 8 Years of experience in relevant Experience, with a minimum of 2 of those years as an SRE. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field experience. Experience in regulated environments and with sensitive information, and the additional security requirements therewith associated is desirable. Mandatory: Cloud: AWS (Must) IAC: Terraform (must) Container Orchestrator: Kubernetes cluster management (must)- Building and Managing Kubernetes cluster. CI/CD tool: Any, GitHub actions preferred. (must) GitOps tool: ArgoCD (preferred) Monitoring and Logging: ELK or Grafana Loki. (any tool) OS: Linux with networking skills Cloud: AWS (must) Configuration management tool: Ansible Scripting: Bash/Python/PowerShell (Any) Experience with any Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) Tools (must) Eg. SonarQube, CheckMarx, AppScan, BurpSuite, Nessus, etc Desirable: Monitoring and Logging: OpenTelemetry Secrets management: Hashicorp Vault Good Communication skills (as the position will require to interact with US counterparts) Skills: Knowledge of software development in coding languages such as Python or Golang is expected. This position requires experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, GitHub (Actions), ArgoCD, and IaC automation as well as solid Linux and cloud networking skills. Thorough understanding of IaC configuration design, software defined networking and infrastructure, and observability platforms such as ELK, Grafana Loki, and/or OpenTelemetry. Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for AKS cluster deployments and cutovers, base image updates, testing IaC changes, and other work focused on daily operations. Applies software engineering practices to IT operations tasks to maintain a scalable and reliable production environment. This engineer will be comfortable writing IaC as well as code to automate processes, such as creating monitoring queries, analyzing logs, disaster recovery tests, responding to incidents, and code as documentation.
