Sr. Video Editor

As a Video Editor & Motion Designer at Thought Pudding, you will play a crucial role in driving the narrative of mental health across various digital channels like Instagram and YouTube. Your responsibilities will include: - Editing short-form and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full YouTube episodes. - Maintaining high creative standards in storytelling flow, sound design, pacing, and typography. - Applying motion graphics, text overlays, and visual cues to enhance content engagement and comprehension. In order to excel in this role, we are looking for someone who can: - Manage the full post-production workflow from ingesting footage to final export using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Capcut, etc. - Optimize video exports for different platforms by considering aspect ratios, codecs, compression, and audio requirements. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - 2-4 years of experience in video editing, motion design, or post-production. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory), Capcut or equivalent software (mandatory), and After Effects (preferred) or equivalent software. - Working knowledge of color grading, audio design, and compression formats. - Experience in editing for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Please note that the work setup for this role includes being based in Bengaluru and reporting to the Creative Lead or Founders of the company.,
