Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a

proficient Python and Playwright Automation Tester

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of our software applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables. We may need immediate joiners

Responsibilities

Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software programs.
Collaborate with software developers to diagnose and rectify issues discovered during testing.
Improve and automate test procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software testing.
Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on potential issues, risks, and usability.
Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing to validate that requirements and specifications have been met.
Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency of the testing process.
Prepare reports on findings from the testing process to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in software testing.
Knowledge of programming languages (Python)
Candidate should have hands on experience in both UI and API automation
Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with
testing frameworks such as Playwright, JUnit, or TestNG.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other automation tools (e.g., JIRA, TestNG, Jenkins).
Experience with Bug Tracking tools , Regression testing
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Familiarity with API testing and other testing methodologies.
