Sr. Test Engineer - Python+Playwright

As a proficient Python and Playwright Automation Tester at YASH Technologies, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. Your role will involve reviewing software requirements, designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, collaborating with developers, and improving test procedures. Additionally, you will participate in product design reviews, conduct post-release testing, evaluate new testing tools, and prepare reports for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios. - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements. - Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software programs. - Collaborate with software developers to diagnose and rectify issues discovered during testing. - Improve and automate test procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software testing. - Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on potential issues, risks, and usability. - Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to validate that requirements and specifications have been met. - Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency of the testing process. - Prepare reports on findings from the testing process to inform stakeholders and support decision-making. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in software testing. - Knowledge of programming languages, particularly Python. - Hands-on experience in both UI and API automation. - Proven experience in both manual and automated testing. - Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Playwright, JUnit, or TestNG. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
