The India LCPA operations team is part of Global Legal, Compliance and Public Affairs organizational unit that assists with legal issues, promotes compliance with law, regulation, and standards of ethical conduct; addresses public policy issues crucial to our business; and provides risk management support solutions to all Operating companies within Marsh McLennan (MMC). India LCPA team is seeking candidates for the following position based out of their Mumbai office in Legal team. Understand the different areas of operations and the operating procedures/regulations governing these operations. Advise business on queries relating to contractual clauses and legal risk, pertaining to different geographies. Interact with stakeholder and business team to understand their requirements on delivery and ensure quality output. Escalate key issues for decision or information using appropriate judgment as to when to do so. Actively participate in all team meetings. Maintain work tracker with all relevant information. Extend support to other team members as and when required. Build legal knowledge base by providing regular updates and sharing information. What you need to have: Graduate / Postgraduate in Law. 3+ years of experience in Abstraction, Drafting, and Redlining of contracts. Experience in working in-house or with a reputable law firm with responsibility for review, and drafting and of legal documentation. Experience of handling contract reviews, drafting and negotiation What makes you stand out? Excellent academic background Additional professional certification in Cyber, Commercial contracts, Data and Technology agreements will be added advantage. Good working knowledge of MS office.
