The R&D Technical CPE Engineer role offers a unique position within our R&D organization. Giving the opportunity to focus either or alternatively on technical investigation (up to coding) or organization and communication challenges. What the role offers: The main responsibility is to act as front end for the R&D team, stepping in first (but not as frontline support, but first for R&D) and coordinating teams, leading investigation, and communication with all stakeholders, internal and external. Participate in calls with support and customers to investigate and communicate on technical issues, fix plans. Act as single point of contact for customer/support and collaborate with different SCRUM teams to deliver solutions. Debug the issues and provide fix/patches to customers. Protect operations by keeping information confidential. What you need to succeed: This is the most important part! Master on Linux and shell script Master on Docker and Kubernetes Experience in debugging JAVA/J2EE products built on Kubernetes/Helm platforms Exposure to working with version control and build tools like GIT, Maven and Jenkins. Exposure to Cloud technologies usage and deployments would be good (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.) and SaaS model Experience in integrating solutions with SSO using different User Authentication technologies like LDAP, Kerberos etc Good Networking skills, familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH, and SNMP is a plus Knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python programming, Shell Scripting, XML, JSON Database user or administration Knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL , Vertica and Oracle DB. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. An urge to help people and resolve technical issues or challenges. Ability to work independently in a cross functional distributed team culture with focus on teamwork.
