Sr. Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our growing engineering team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in backend development, a strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js (and optionally TypeScript).

● Create and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

● Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases for data modeling and optimization.

● Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

● Implement and maintain best practices for code quality, performance, and security.

● Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

● Optimize application performance and scalability for high-traffic environments.

● Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a distributed system.

● Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Node.js and backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

● Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.

● Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful services.

● Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other relational/noSQL databases.

● Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.

● Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

● Experience with microservices architecture.

● Familiarity with WebSockets, Redis, Kafka, or other message brokers.

● Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

● Exposure to frontend technologies like React or Angular is a bonus.

Pay: ₹540,445.81 - ₹1,918,990.51 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:
