Your Impact: OpenText (OT) is a growing organization looking for talented and experienced engineers for leading ESM (Enterprise Service Management) product developments and support. A unified team is responsible for handling product releases and any requests emanating directly from customers or via OT Support teams. What the role offers: Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of application software, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools. Analyses design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution. Ability to write good clean code on a day-to-day basis and actively participates in Code reviews. Should be open to work across technologies as a stack developer. Leads a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem. Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more complex development projects. Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members. What you need to succeed: At least 7 years or above hands-on C++ programming experience required. Experience with both Win32 and LINUX APIs required. Experience developing multi-threaded software required. Standard C++, Boost C++, JNI, Web Experience in using MFC library for developing Windows Desktop application (UI development) knowledge in Visual Basic. Experience in server-side of large-scale multi-tier software applications required. Experience in Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL required. Passion in software engineering, technology oriented. Independent, self-reliant, trustable, quick learning, high responsible and with can do attitude Service (SOAP/REST), database performance tuning, system core dump analysis. Tools: Visual Studio C++, gdb/g++/gcc Iron will and strong motivation to grow. Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Using software applications design tools and languages. Excellent time management and self-organization/autonomy. Software applications basic testing methodology, including writing and execution of testing scripts and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels. Experience in working with version control and build tools like GIT, GitLab, Maven and Jenkins. Good Networking skills and experience.
