Job Description

Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes, define needs, and translate them into system requirements.

  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into actionable ServiceNow tasks, features, and project deliverables.

  • Provide technical expertise in developing system functional specifications and deploying new or enhanced systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Partner with business users, architects, and developers to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives and are implemented effectively.

  • Translate high-level process definitions into detailed ServiceNow designs (epics, features, user stories).

  • Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, system, and integration testing.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to resolve business or system issues.

  • Conduct testing and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

  • Explore and propose innovative solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision to develop effective solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, customers, and vendors.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow experience with proven success working in global, complex environments.

  • Preferred (not mandatory):

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

    • CIS – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)

    • CIS – Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)

    • CIS – Human Resources (CIS-HR)

  • Strong coordination and communication skills for managing cross-team expectations and deliverables.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies; experience with Scrum/Agile frameworks.

  • Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow platform features and capabilities.

  • Understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.

  • Knowledge of software security best practices.

  • Strong curiosity and interest in emerging technologies.

  • Ability to promote out-of-the-box ServiceNow solutions while aligning them to business requirements.

  • Experience working with distributed and multicultural teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.

  • Fluency in English.
