About The Role

Why become Senior Sales Compensation Analyst

The role is part of the central team that takes the responsibility and accountability of ensuring timely and accurate payouts to over 900+ participants of Service Compensation Plan within OB International globally and also Leaders’ Bonus of the OB Intl Leaders.

Mission

The primary mission of the Compensation Data Analyst/Sr. Analyst role is to enhance the efficacy and fairness of compensation structures tied to strategic business goals. By leveraging analytics, you will ensure that compensation plans are effectively designed, administered, and evaluated while empowering informed decision-making throughout the organization.

Main activities

Sales Compensation Operations & Administration

  • Manage the centralized administration of incentive plans, ensuring accurate, timely calculations, validations, and payouts of commissions and bonuses.
  • Support month-end closing activities, accruals, audits, and compliance functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all compensation-related inquiries, swiftly resolving escalations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Sales Operations to maintain data integrity, forecast accuracy, and compliance.
  • Provide continual training and support to sales teams and managers regarding compensation systems and processes.
  • Maintain detailed process documentation, plan summaries, FAQs, and communication materials for global rollout and change management.
  • Manage the OB International Leaders Bonus, ensuring financial accountability aligned with defined budgets.
  • Support the head of the department in designing, implementing the various incentive plan

System Ownership & Process Automation

  • Serve as the business owner of the sales compensation platform, championing automation and digital processes.
  • Oversee system enhancements, ensuring data integrations with core systems and user access governance are effectively managed
  • Lead the design, testing, and implementation of system changes, keeping thorough documentation.
  • Drive automation of processes, dashboards, audit workflows, and reporting infrastructures while partnering with IT

Governance, Policy & Compliance

  • Establish governance frameworks in collaboration with HR and regional teams to support appropriate sales compensation plan design.
  • Evaluate and enforce sales compensation plans that align with strategic goals and compliance requirements and support audit and internal control requirements.
  • Conduct analyses to maintain the accuracy of calculations and ensure adherence to company policies.

Data Analytics & Performance Insights

  • Develop and maintain reports that monitor sales performance and the effectiveness of incentive plans.
  • Conduct impact analyses, cost evaluations, and audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Track key metrics to assess plan effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
  • Deliver dashboards and analytical reports to evaluate plan performance and trends by using BI solution.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and plan refinement.

  • Show proficiency in system automation to optimize compensation processes.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools to deliver impactful insights for compensation analysis.

Qualifications (work Experience, Education Background, Certifications, Etc)

Education:

Masters Degree in any relevant field from a registered university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, compensation management, or related roles, preferably within the telecom or IT sectors.
  • Proven experience in automation, analytics, and effective cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Certifications:

  • Certifications in data analytics are required to demonstrate proficiency in analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Power BI certifications are preferred to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
