Sr. Quality Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Quality Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing with a preference for experience in the Analytics domain. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and on-site work with no travel required. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the highest quality of software products. Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Selenium to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Provide detailed and accurate bug reports and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline the testing process. Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure that quality standards are being met. Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and testing methodologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve testing processes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics. Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle by identifying and implementing process improvements. Qualifications Possess a strong background in Java and Selenium with at least 6 years of hands-on experience. Have a solid understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies. Experience in the Analytics domain is a plus. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
