Job Summary The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our airline domain projects. With a focus on automation and continuous integration the candidate will utilize their expertise in Azure Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL to enhance product reliability and performance. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams during day shifts. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability in the airline domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects using Jira and other tools. Design and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG to streamline testing processes. Utilize Azure for cloud-based testing and deployment ensuring scalability and efficiency. Integrate Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery enhancing the development workflow. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders facilitating informed decision-making. Optimize test environments using Maven to ensure consistency and reliability across different platforms. Apply PL/SQL skills to validate data integrity and performance in database-driven applications. Monitor and improve test coverage ensuring all critical functionalities are thoroughly tested. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability. Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and design effective test cases. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve testing methodologies. Contribute to the development of testing standards and practices within the organization. Qualifications Possess strong technical skills in Azure Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL essential for effective testing and automation. Have domain expertise in the airline industry enabling a deep understanding of specific testing requirements and challenges. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail crucial for identifying and resolving defects. Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Show adaptability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work efficiently. Display a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies and methodologies. Have a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering roles.
