Role Description Automation Test Engineer are required to demonstrate a variety of both soft and hard skills. Some of the key abilities required for this role include: Identifying and designing business processes for automation Setting up, testing and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error Monitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations Producing process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward Ensuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugs Required Qualifications Strong background in, and at least 3+ years of working in QA Automation. Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology Experience in API testing (using Postman or other tools) or API automation and exposer to latest testing tools like JMeter, Test case management tool etc. Experience with Databases, such as SQL and NoSQL Good understandings/hands on experience with continuous integration tools like ADO/JIRA etc. Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD Proficient working with SQL server Knowledge of Web technologies like HTTP, JS, CSS, SOAP, REST, should have experience in API Automation like REST API etc. Preferred Qualifications Moderate to strong programming skills in JS. Knowledge of Web technologies like HTTP, JS, CSS, SOAP, REST.
