Sr. Product Application Engineer

As a Senior Product Application Engineer at AMD, your role involves providing Best in Class technical support to customers, accelerating their design cycle, and influencing solution quality to enhance customer experience. You will handle complex issues in various stages of FPGA design flow for premier customers, gaining exposure to architecture, design, timing, IP, hardware, and more intricacies involved in Xilinx, an AMD company product. Working with Worldwide PAEs, you will gain invaluable hands-on work experience and build a professional network through cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct technical support to customers on critical design issues - Collaborate in a team environment to identify customer problems and propose suitable solutions - Advise customers on alternative design techniques and implementation of solutions - Offer information and data on a variety of Xilinx, an AMD company products - Develop solutions for specific customer needs - Work on specific tactical projects for key design programs - Coach customers on design techniques - Generate Answer Records - Provide input to product development teams - Handle customer escalations and tactical software patch requests - Summarize and provide customer feedback to development teams Preferred Experience: - Proficient in Digital fundamentals, Verilog/VHDL language, and Simulation - Hands-on experience with IP, Drivers is preferable - Good exposure to hardware debug tools with Xilinx, an AMD company - Candidates with exposure to Ultrascale/Ultrascale+/Zynq/Zynq MPSoC High-speed serial IOs, PCIe, or High-Speed IPs are preferred - Familiarity with Xilinx, an AMD company Tools like Vivado, SDK, Vitis, or equivalent tools for FPGA/SoC hardware design Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience with Masters/Bachelor or equivalent in the field of Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a reputed university - PG-Diploma in Embedded Systems from a reputed institute/university is a plus At AMD, you will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and innovative environment that values collaboration, respect, and excellence.
