Sr. Performance Test Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests using LoadRunner and JMeter to ensure the scalability and reliability of the applications. You will work closely with the project teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.

Must Have Skills:

• 4-6 years of experience in performance testing
• 2+ years of experience in JMeter
• 2+ years of experience in LoadRunner
• Experience in end to end of performance testing life cycle.
• Good knowledge of non-functional requirement gathering, test planning, and designing different scenarios.
• Experience of delivering performance testing cloud environments.
• Working experience in any APM tool [dynaTrace/NewRelic/Azure App Insights, etc.]
• Hands-on experience working under agile methodologies and DevOps environments
• Excellent communication skill

Good To Have Skills:

• Experience in volume testing or batch performance testing
• Experience working in Azure environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement performance and stress test plans, scripts, and scenarios using industry-standard tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or BlazeMeter
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to assess system reliability and capacity under varying conditions
• Monitor and analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, response times) during test execution
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document performance bottlenecks and work collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure performance requirements are met and to support continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices
• Configure and manage performance test environments and validate test readiness
