Sr. Node.js Developer

As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS/Koa). Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure backend services while integrating with third-party services and databases (SQL and NoSQL). It will be essential to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code and ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Additionally, you will lead code reviews, provide technical guidance to team members, and participate in architectural design and decision-making to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other developers will be crucial to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will implement best practices in security, testing, and CI/CD, and monitor and maintain applications post-deployment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of professional experience in Node.js development, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable software applications. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience in related technologies and frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa, NestJS), is essential. Proficiency in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling, as well as experience with version control systems like Git, is necessary. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture are desired qualifications. Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest) would be a plus in this role.,
