Job Description

Lead a technical team comprising both MERN stack and PHP developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack and PHP frameworks. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and compliance with coding standards. Implement and advocate for agile development methodologies within the team. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development. Desired Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+ syntax. Strong experience with the MERN (Mongo DB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. Proficiency in PHP development and familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony). Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React.js, jQuery). Knowledge of database design and implementation, particularly with Mongo DB and MySQL. Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Advantage Skills: Previous experience in a leadership or team lead role. Knowledge of deployment and hosting platforms (e.g., Heroku, AWS). Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PHP Unit) and test-driven development (TDD) practices. Understanding of server-side rendering and SSR frameworks (e.g., Next.js). Experience with GraphQL is a plus. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 4+ years of overall software development experience. Minimum 2+ years of experience specifically with the MERN (Mongo DB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) stack. Proficiency with PHP and any other technology is a plus
