Job Description

Role & responsibilities The GM - Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets across assigned regions. The role requires strong leadership, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans. The AGM will also oversee client relationship management, market analysis, and ensure coordination between various departments such as operations, dispatch, and accounts. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute regional sales strategies in alignment with the company's business goals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to identify new business opportunities. Work closely with the General Manager to define sales targets, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Team Leadership and Development: Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of targets. Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, negotiation, and closing skills. Foster a collaborative working environment between sales, accounts, and operations teams. Business Development and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, and clients across the region. Negotiate major contracts and sales deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Expand the customer base and develop strategies to increase repeat business. Revenue Growth and Sales Execution: Drive revenue growth by achieving or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Ensure timely and efficient follow-up on leads and customer inquiries. Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure efficient lead management. Operational Coordination: Liaise with operations, dispatch, and accounts teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Monitor and ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to logistics or product quality. Work with the finance team on customer credit management and payment follow-ups. Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct periodic market analysis and competitor benchmarking. Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for market expansion and improvement of sales processes. Product Knowledge and Training: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product offerings and stay updated on industry trends. Organize product training sessions for the sales team and clients to enhance product awareness and sales proficiency.
