Job Description

Executing Sales Strategy: Assist Zonal Head in translating the overall sales strategy / targets for zone to individual districts and regions Communicate the sales targets in the form of Journey Cycle Plan to team of Sales Officers and oversee execution as per plan Establish, measure timelines and mechanisms to regularly review the performance of team against the set targets and provide guidance and support to the team for identified issues Coordinate with the Technical Services team to ensure highest standards of customer satisfaction Support Zonal Head in performing periodic demand forecasting across districts; participate in sales and operations planning discussions with Zonal Head and manage timely demand planning activities Track competitor activities and provide data on competitor performance, price points, etc Sales Operations: Oversee Sales Officers, assign their periodic targets, guide them in activity planning Analyse sales performance data for own team of Sales Officers to ensure course correction wherever required Ensure adherence to defined standard operating procedures to sell products and record sales Ensure compliance of team to internal technology platforms for tracking sales performance, attendance, etc Collaborate with Technical services team in implementing the designed marketing activities Ensure timely delivery of product in the assigned territory through co-ordination with logistics teams and local distributors Dealer Network management: Support expansion of dealer network to maximize market penetration & sales volumes Drive and oversee channel partner activation through drives and campaigns Oversee smooth and effective rollout of trade discounts, promotions and schemes in line with functional objectives People Management: Drive a performance driven culture Set goals, review performance and provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team Develop employee capability and build functional excellence through various learning and development interventions and mentoring initiatives Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within the team and across teams
