Sr. Manager - Quality | Rubber Components

Job Role

The person will ensure that all rubber products meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and relevant industry and regulatory requirements. This role will oversee quality planning, process control, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives across production, raw material procurement, and customer interface.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organizations quality strategy, policies, and systems in alignment with business goals.
• Lead a cross-functional quality culture focused on prevention, process control, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs and drive performance improvement across departments.
• Maintain and enhance quality management systems (QMS) or other relevant standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits; lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee

  in alignment with control plans.
• Develop and approve quality assurance plans, SOPs, and inspection standards for rubber compounding, molding, extrusion, and finishing processes.
• Coordinate with production and R&D to address non-conformities and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.

Desired Candidate

• Graduate in B.Tech / M.Tech in Rubber Technology, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in quality assurance within

  rubber manufacturing

  (industrial products, automotive components, moulded/extruded rubber parts, seals, hoses, etc.).
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining

  ISO / IATF

  systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of rubber compounding, process parameters, and testing methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (FMEA, RCA, 8D).
• Expertise in rubber testing standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
