Sr Manager, Category Management

As a Senior Manager for Storefront at Target, you will be responsible for managing a business by utilizing a combination of intuition, expertise, and data-driven analytics. Your main objective will be to develop assortment, pricing, merchandising, and marketing strategies to achieve GMV and Revenue goals, as well as to increase market share for your category. You will continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all channels, guest behavior, market trends, and competitive insights to optimize short-term performance, inform long-term strategies, and identify new sellers and category opportunities. Collaboration with sellers to provide the best assortment for guests is essential, along with partnering with internal teams across various departments to enhance the shopping experience at Target Americas. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a business by developing assortment, pricing, merchandising, and marketing strategies - Utilize data and analytics to achieve GMV and Revenue goals - Monitor KPIs, guest behavior, market trends, and competitive insights - Collaborate with sellers to offer the best assortment for guests - Partner with internal teams to enhance the shopping experience - Communicate strategies and business updates to the Merchandising team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (B.S. and/or B.A.) - 4+ years of experience in merchandising, forecasting, and product selection - 3+ years of experience in managing an ecommerce business - 2+ years of experience in leading, managing, and developing people - Entrepreneurial mindset and outcome-focused personality - Ability to work in an environment similar to a startup Please note that job duties may change based on business needs.,
