Role Overview

Senior Manager (Business Strategy & Operations)

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends financial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. M&A and Strategic Transactions

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute potential M&A, joint ventures, and partnership opportunities across healthcare delivery, SaaS, and digital health adjacencies.
  • Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and synergy assessments for potential targets.
  • Conduct detailed commercial, financial, and operational due diligence in collaboration with internal and external advisors.
  • Support end-to-end deal execution including structuring, negotiations, documentation, and integration planning.

2. Strategic Planning and Capital Markets

  • Work with senior leadership to refine Practo's strategic roadmap, capital raise priorities, and investor positioning.
  • Support private capital raise and IPO readiness initiatives - including banker engagement, due diligence coordination, and investor materials.
  • Develop benchmarking analyses on peers and global healthtech comparables.
  • Prepare board and investor presentations, including long-term financial models, valuation bridges, and scenario planning.

3. Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights

  • Track sector trends across healthcare delivery, digital health, and healthtech SaaS.
  • Build a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging business models, and M&A activity across India and global markets.
  • Maintain market maps and valuation trackers for strategic use in board discussions and investor outreach.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance, Strategy, Product, and Business Leaders to evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and strategic investments.
  • Work with Legal, Tax, and Compliance teams on transaction structuring and risk assessment.
  • Drive post-merger integration (PMI) planning to ensure realization of synergies and operational alignment.

Candidate Profile

Requirement

Details

Education

MBA from a Tier-1 institution

Experience

3-5 years total experience, with at least 2-3 years post-MBA in Investment Banking (TMT / Healthcare preferred) or Corporate Development

Skills

Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution experience excellent business judgment high analytical rigor

Domain knowledge

Exposure to digital health, healthcare services, or technology-enabled platforms is strongly preferred

Soft skills

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
