Sr. Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code with full-stack development in Java/J2EE. You will roll out new features, analyze system services and user feedback, and optimize existing functionality for improved response times. Collaboration with the team to design, develop, unit test, and support new features is a key aspect of this role. You will need to search creatively for the best solutions while keeping the end-user in mind. Delivering readable, maintainable, and efficient code, as well as performance tuning, testing, refactoring, usability, and automation are all part of your responsibilities. Active participation in Scrums, sprint planning meetings, and sprint retrospectives is expected. Additionally, you will be required to rapidly mockup proof-of-concept implementations of ideas and present them to internal stakeholders. Staying informed about new tools, libraries, and best practices, and sharing ideas with the team for continuous improvement of the tool-chain and development process is crucial. Supporting, maintaining, and documenting software functionality, as well as working with other departments, stakeholders, and customers on software development, improvements, internal tools, and implementation issues are also part of the job. Basic requirements for this role include at least 3 years of programming experience in developing web apps using Java/J2EE or frameworks like Spring. Strong expertise in Core Java, Collections, hands-on experience in Microservices, Spring Boot, and other Spring components is necessary. Knowledge of containers and container management technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred. Understanding of architecture and design concepts, object-oriented design, techniques, and exposure to design patterns is expected. Front-end development skills with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, and XML are required. Experience with JavaScript-related libraries and frameworks, particularly Angular, is preferable. Strong knowledge of database modeling and design, as well as experience in API design and REST-based services, is essential. Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture is also beneficial for this role.,
