Roles and Responsibilities Strong experience working on implementation, configuration and administration of NextGen Firewalls i.e. PaloAlto, Fortinet and Checkpoint Provisioning firewalls, based on consultation with the customer Develops an understanding of customer engagements (objectives, project scope, business and technical requirements) to ensure expectations are met. Produces project-related documents including any required technical architecture diagrams. These documents might include SOW, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Migration Plan etc. Hands-on experience in migrating the firewalls Upgrade firmware, security patches and latest software upgrades as per client policy Good understanding knowledge and hands-on in Firewall Policy, Routing, security profiles and policy fine-tuning Should have Knowledge and hands-on in SDWAN Basic knowledge of core networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Next-Gen firewalls for activities including Firewall HA, Site to Site VPN and client VPN Quickly respond, good troubleshooting skills and implement resolutions for client issues Independent handling and managing severity Should be able to meet the defined SLAs for service delivery signed off by clients Execute approved maintenance activities and configuration changes Provide telephonic, Remote, onsite or email support to clients when required Desired Candidate Profile Shift: General Experience: At least 5 years. Can be more Certifications: MUST. In at-least one of the firewalls viz. Checkpoint / Fortigate / PaloAlto.
