Sr. Engineering Executive

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and systems.
• Oversee the preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant machinery and infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
• Ensure strict adherence to all HUL safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GMP).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, supply chain, and R&D teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop and manage the engineering budget, controlling expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational integrity.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities and drive digital transformation within the plant.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on engineering performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management.
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering from a reputable institution. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in engineering roles within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or senior supervisory capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA).
• Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance programs (preventive, predictive, and corrective).
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP), and environmental compliance.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
