Qualifications
- Minimum 10 12 years of experience in Supplier Development quality and Manufacturing / or Process Engineering.
- Experience in working with global customers & suppliers.
What You'll Do
- SPOC for the assigned ESA business SQPI (Supplier Quality Performance Improvement) supplier activities (External + Internal).
- Drive the Supplier Quality improvement activities at supplier manufacturing process to improve the supplier
performance
- Train suppliers in the deployment of quality systems tools and techniques such as 8D problem solving, Process
Capability Study, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP.
- Facilitate common understanding between team and stake holders for requirements and ensure on time and accurate
task completion
- Drive supplier Training program to meet supplier performance expectation per Eaton Supplier Excellence Manual
(SEM).
- Apply strategic thought process for expansion of the process to all plants and ensure the onboarding through transition
process.
- Lead the deployment of consistent supplier quality related policies, processes, and procedures
- Monitor and communicate supplier performance to all key stake holders timely
- Prepare Management Review Reports and publish timely.
- Demonstrate & implement Continuous Improvement culture internally & at supplier end.
- Trouble shoot flawless problem closures in coordination with global stake holders.
- Lead in publishing & communicating progress against GSCCoE goals and facilitate improvements.
- Work as liaison between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify
requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve definition of requirements.
- Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on ad-hoc requests.
- Coordinates and assists with corporate initiatives, participating on teams in order to drive best practices across Eaton
sites
- Assist in Supplier quality data analysis and business growth PP planning. Driving BPI / process enhancements.
- Lead various improvement projects and act as SPOC for Group, customers & Suppliers
- Conducting process audits virtually for suppliers where there is gap in QMS adherence
- Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency and
morale.
- Candidate should handle his domain in Agile way.
- Provides Lean and Six Sigma support across the function to drive short-term and long term business improvements.
- Utilizes CI tools to eliminate all types of wastes, driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved performance.
- Leads initiatives including training, mentoring, support & SPOC for Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, BPI, VSM, benchmarking, Productivity.
- Monitor high impact CI projects in the function and track the progress to ensure completion of the same.
- Guide and work with Team to build CI projects in function and seek represention in an Internal CI competition
- Coordination with External bodies for upcoming events wherein Team members can participate & showcase good Projects done, gain outside in perspective
