Job Description

1. Preparation of BOQ Estimate of Project within Time Schedule and send to VP Engineering for approval 2. Source quotations from contractors create CSQ to analyse best offer 3. Issue approved Work Order to contractors with specifications scope of works without errors 4. Verification of requisitions received from Site Engineer with estimated BOQ and send to Material Co-coordinator 5. Preparation of Yearly Fund Flow submission to Accounts department, quarterly yearly , with revisions as per project progress with proper co ordination with PM management. 6. Preparation of monthly estimation reports of all sites upto 5th of every month 7. Monitor / Coach / Motivate team to either achieve or over achieve their KRAs 8. Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate 9. Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality or availability of materials 10. Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc into unit and man hour figures 11. Determine critical path schedule and sequence of work 12. Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work; price work items 13. Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers 14. Attends project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required 15. Gather and monitor actual cost vs. estimated cost, maintaining project cost history Technical Skills Knowledge 1. Planning Organizing, Communication Interpersonal skills, Result Orientation, Flexibility, Negotiation Skills Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS-Project, MS-Office (especially MS Excel) mandatory Experience Educational Qualifications 1. 6-10 years of experience 2. DCE / BE (Civil)
