Sr. Engineer / Engineer – SCM (Purchase)

Job Description

Identify reliable suppliers and vendors through market research. Source and procure raw materials, components, equipment, and services according to company requirements. Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and materials. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost efficiency Maintain supplier relationships and conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production and project needs. Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete inventory. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical requirements and specifications for purchased items Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts. Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making and strategic planning Monitor and enforce quality standards and specifications for purchased items. Software SAP, MS Office. Good knowledge of International codes & Material standards. Familiar with ISO IMS standards.
